Quartz, Druzy

The Druzy Quartz from the Lily Mine in Peru is prized by collectors and decorators for its sparkly brilliance. The Lilly Mine lies 30 km east of Pisco in the Ica Department of Peru not far from the Pacific Ocean coastline. Druzy Quartz occurs with light blue to green inclusions of malachite and chrysocolla to give it its attractive color. Gem chrysocolla, Calcite, Selenite and Atacamite can occur in conjunction with Druzy Quartz.
