Imperial Topaz is the rarest color of Topaz ranges from a golden orange to a pinkish color. It is an 8 on the Mohs hardness scale and is the hardest of the silicate minerals. The primary source is from Ouro Preto, Brazil, and it usually occurs as single crystals.
