Vivianite
Vivianite is a soft iron phosphate mineral and is 1.5-2 on the Mohs hardness scale. It often forms with organic material and when it does, can be unstable and darker when exposed to light.
But the Bolivian Vivianite we get forms in high altitude tin mines and is not only stable but comes in beautiful translucent green to blue green crystals.
We also have a fantastic variety from Brazil with large translucent crystals sometimes associated with Ludlimite.
These are some representative photos. We have an excellent selection with a variety of sizes. Call us to make an appointment to see our inventory by live chat. (501) 623-2323
